Dr. Cooper was born in Knoxville, Tennessee but spent most of her childhood growing up in Alpharetta, GA. Prior to attending veterinary school, she worked alongside Dr. Doiron and Dr. Sullivan at Alpharetta Animal Hospital as a veterinary technician.
She attended Georgia Southern University for her undergraduate degree and went on to receive her doctorate from Western University of Health Sciences in southern California. After veterinary school, she made her way back to the south to complete a year-long rotating internship at a specialty hospital where she gained advanced knowledge in all fields of veterinary medicine. Dr. Cooper found her love in the human-animal bond and decided that general practice is where her heart is.
Dr. Cooper currently lives in Midtown with her fiancé, Coleman, and their maltipoo, Teddy. When she’s not working at WFAH, Dr. Cooper is usually spending time at the lake or beach with Coleman and Teddy.
